Beware of social engineering and phishing
We will NEVER ask you for your login, password or 2FA. These details are private and should NEVER be shared. The 6-digit randomly generated number on your phone's 2FA authenticator program should also NEVER be shared. You should avoid responding to unsolicited direct messages and emails. Always be aware. If you think you are being targeted by a scammer, contact our Customer Support immediately.
Keep private information to yourself
Your account login details must always be kept private, ESPECIALLY your password or private keys (If you own your own wallet). If you need help logging in, there is a feature for resetting your password or you can contact our Customer Support.
Be careful when performing transactions
Be vigilant when transferring cryptocurrencies or fiat. SINEGY will never ask for any information from you to perform a transaction on your behalf.
Follow basic web safety rules
Our website is protected with SSL/TLS to provide an additional layer to security and data integrity. We test our website for vulnerabilities frequently. Please check that you are visiting https://marketplace.sinegy.com/
Email spoofing is very frequently used by scammers to make it look like an email is coming from a trustworthy source.
You should only be receiving emails from addresses ending with the domain @sinegy.com. Such as support@sinegy.com or hello@sinegy.com. Some email spoofs might try to closely emulate addresses, such as hello@singy.com.
Always use caution and look closely at email domains to avoid interacting with suspicious senders, especially if they are asking for your private information.
Use 2-factor authentication
All SINEGY users are heavily encouraged to set up 2-factor authentication to use the platform and withdraw funds. We strongly recommend Google Authenticator or Authy and that you do not deactivate your 2FA.
Update: As a directive from Securities Commission Malaysia, all users are required to have 2FA upon withdrawal of fiat and crypto asset.
If suspicious, ask us for help
Always be cautious when receiving emails or phone calls that may look suspicious. If you ever need help with your account or want to get in touch, we heavily recommend contacting us support@sinegy.com or our Contact Us page at : https://sinegy.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
